Raranga - to weave. Usually done with strips of harakeke (flax). Raranga is often used as a metaphor for bringing people together. This ring is custom made for each person. It uses a traditional 5-plait weaving technique. Each ring will be slightly different and unique. The width of the ring is approximately 8mm. If you would like a different width, please contact me first to discuss. Because of this process, this can take up to three weeks to complete. This is solid, sterling silver. Handmade, and made to order, in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Ring size measurements are diameter in mm.
